Mendonca & Suarez, LLC is hiring a Research Analyst to produce clear, client-ready insights that support advisory engagements, industry perspectives, and internal strategic planning. You will synthesize market signals, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics into concise, credible deliverables that help clients and leadership make informed decisions.

Requirements

• •3+ years of experience in research, analytics, consulting, or a comparable role
• •Strong ability to structure ambiguous questions into clear research plans and deliverables
• •Proficiency with primary and secondary research methods, source validation, and synthesis
• •Experience producing executive-ready briefs, client memos, or presentation-style summaries
• •Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; ability to interpret market and financial data
• •Advanced Excel/Sheets skills required; bonus for SQL and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• •Excellent writing skills with a professional services tone and meticulous attention to detail
• •Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• •Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to support advisory work and firm strategy
• •Monitor regulatory and economic developments relevant to middle-market businesses
• •Produce concise research briefs, insight memos, and meeting-ready summaries with clear sourcing
• •Build repeatable research frameworks and internal knowledge repositories
• •Support proposals and client perspectives with evidence-based insights and data storytelling
• •Collaborate with stakeholders to refine research questions and ensure outputs match decision needs
• •Maintain documentation and citation standards to ensure traceability and credibility
